Columbia light roadster 1887-1892

In 1887 the front hub of the Columbia light roadster changed. Spokes make more crossings and the hub is some kind of frisbee shape, a design that was originally used by Singer on the Apollo.

This bicycle was built in 1892, the last year of the highwheels. It's over restored and some replica parts were used, but it gives a good idea of the bicycle.

Click the pictures for more pictures on the Copake auction site. It was sold there in april 2011.
